The Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department of REC was established in 2006 with the sole objective to impart the technical education to the prospective students in the ever demanding area of Electrical & Electronics. Under this Department graduate programme provides study in different core subjects, with the proper practical applications. The department also gives emphasis to learning through project works, industrial visits and expert lectures on special topics. The faculties in the Department are M. Tech. / PhD degrees and some of them have experience of working in industries

The faculties give full attention and guide the students to excel in their university examinations as well as career growth. Interactive sessions are held with the parents to provide information about academic performance and progress of every student.

Department has laboratories like Basic Electrical, Machines, Power System, Power Electronics, Control System, Instrumentation & Measurement, Network Analysis and Simulation, which are well equipped with recent and modern equipments

Attention is paid on Minor and Major Projects and have separate laboratories for projects to explore students’ potential in the art of creativity and interaction with the latest technologies. Industrial visits and training programs are being arranged to expose the students to industrial environment. Guest lectures are also invited from various institutions, research organizations and industries on the latest and beyond the syllabus topics for imparting professional knowledge to the students.
