RGI-Design, Testing, Consultancy & Research CellThe Mechanical Engineering Department of Raddharam Institute of Technology & Science (RITS), Ratibar, Bhopal has a large number of equipment and facilities primarily for imparting practical knowledge to students for supplementing the theoretical knowledge imparted during classroom teaching. These equipment being state of art, RITS would like to extend the use of these equipment and facilities to Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SSEs & SMEs) whose day to day demand may not be such a volume to warrant establishment of in-house facilities. The students of RITS would also be benefitted immensely by getting involved in and exposed to industrial problems. The students will also come to know the benefits of taking laboratory work seriously and learning about the actual use of the equipment which they have learned and handled as a part of the laboratory course. A list of various equipment and facilities which are available in the various laboratories of the Mechanical Engineering Department of RITS is given below: All small and medium scale enterprises are invited to utilize these facilities which are calibrated and well maintained. All tests can be performed according to relevant Indian and International standards. The eager, enthusiastic and motivated students of RITS will be the work horse of these interactions. Further the highly erudite and experienced (both academically and industrially) faculty will guide them to reach logical conclusions of each assignment. Such practice is in vogue in developed countries like Germany, U.K, United State of America, Australia and Canada in which both the industry and institution benefit.
