The Electrical & Electronics engineering Department of RGI was established in 2003 with the sole objective to impart the technical education to the prospective students in the ever demanding area of Electrical & Electronics. Under this Department graduate programme provides study in different core subjects, with the proper practical applications. The department also give emphasis to learning through project works, industrial visits and expert lecture on special topic.

There are more than 25 faculty members in the Department, most of them with Masters Degree, few with Ph.D. Degree and some of them have worked in industrial environment also.

With the intake of 30 students the faculties give full attention and guide the students to excel in their university examination and career growth. We interact with the parents to give information about academic performance of every student.

Department has more then 12 labs, well equipped with recent and modern equipments like Basic Electrical, Machine-I, Machine-II, Power System, Power Electronics, Control System, Instrumentation & Measurement, Network Analysis Lab and Simulation Lab.

Department also concentrated on Major and Minor Projects and have separate project Lab to explore students potential, in the art of creativity and interaction with the latest technology.

Department arrange regular industrial visits and training programs to expose the students to industrial environment. Guest lectures are also invited from various institutions, research organization and industries for delivering lectures on the latest and beyond the syllabus topics during the course. With the continuous monitoring motivation and hard work put up by faculty and students the academic results and placement records of student of Electrical and Electronics Department has exhibited continuous improvement over last 3 years.
