Dr Ashok Das   Founder CEO SunMoksha, Banglore and Consultant at The World Bank  visited the institute on 3rd. May, 2010  and interacted with the students , faculty members and also had the detailed discussion with the Management  & RGI Directors/ Development Directors on the research projects in the field of Clean Technologies/ Renewable Energy. Prof. Padam Singh, Director Development ( Ex) in detail discussed the several R&D  projects in Renewable Energy  sector being taken up by the RGI.

Dr. Das  gave very valuable suggestions  for expending the R&D activities in RGI especially in the areas of energy/ Green Energy/ Clean Technologies

Dr. Das presented the deliberation on Clean/ Green Technologies to the students & faculty  and  highlighted the business opportunities and job prospects in this area.

Dr. Das  also witnessed the presentations by the students on major projects and gave some valuable suggestions to the students for improvement and interacted with  the senior faculty/ researchers  to  widen the research  areas a for the benefit of UG and PG students and to  enhance capacity building of  the faculty.
