Dr. Anurag Jain

Greetings and a very warm welcome to RGI!
Dr. Anurag Jain is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator with more than two decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. He is currently serving as Director of Radharaman Engineering College (REC), Bhopal, where he oversees academic, administrative, and research activities in alignment with AICTE, RGPV University, and other regulatory bodies. Dr. Jain holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology (Network Security) from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, an M.Tech. in Information Technology. His areas of expertise include Machine Learning, IoT, Health Informatics, Educational Technology, and Network Security.
Since joining Radharaman Group of Institutions (RGI) in 2005, Dr. Jain has steadily advanced through academic and leadership roles — from Lecturer to Head of Department, Dean Academics, Associate Professor, and now Professor and Director. Under his directorship, REC has signed multiple MoUs with reputed organizations, conducted Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and organized national and international conferences.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Jain has authored and co-authored over 190 papers in SCI, Scopus, and peer-reviewed journals, and has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences. He has been granted two international patents (Australia) and three national patents in India. He is also the author of three books: Basic Computer Engineering, Fundamentals of Computer Science and Engineering, and Machine Learning.
As a mentor, Dr. Jain has supervised more than 75 M.Tech. dissertations and successfully guided four Ph.D. scholars in cutting-edge research areas such as machine learning, health informatics, and predictive analytics. His students often describe him as an inspiring teacher who simplifies complex concepts and encourages innovative thinking.
He is actively associated with several professional bodies, including the Computer Society of India (CSI), Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS), Vigyan Bharti, and international associations like CSTA and Universal Association of Computer and Electronics Engineers.
Dr. Jain’s contributions extend beyond academics — he has been instrumental in fostering industry-academia collaboration, skill development, and entrepreneurship awareness among students. Many of his mentees are now successful software engineers, researchers, and innovators across India and abroad.
