Title : I. C ENGINE LABORATORY
Details : This is an engine testing and tear-down facility for use with the departmental internal combustion engines course. 3rd Year Students are able to test the performance of engines (e.g. obtaining power curves, fuel consumption and efficiency) and study the cut section model of engines to determine the factions of various components. Students study engines running on gasoline, diesel, propane and alternative fuels, and evaluate the relative benefits and of each with regard to power, efficiency and cost.
