Expert Lecture on Advancement in Electric Vehicles and Solar Technology at Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science Bhopal, 21 August 2024: The Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science (RITS), Bhopal, hosted an insightful expert lecture on the cutting-edge topic of Advancement in Electric Vehicles and Solar Technology.The session was led by Professor Varun Pratap Singh, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics, and Professor Asim Shrivastav. During the lecture, Professor Singh and Professor Shrivastav explored the transformative potential of combining electric vehicles with solar technology. Professor Singh highlighted that this synergy not only promotes sustainability but also significantly reduces our reliance on fossil fuels. Professor Shrivastav underscored the critical role these innovations play in minimizing environmental impact and addressing the growing global demand for energy. The session also detailed the numerous benefits of these technologies. Internship program for first-year students at RITS

The Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science hosted an internship program for first-year students (from July 8-13, 2024). The program, led by industry and academic experts, provided students with valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies. Mr. Rupesh Kumar, formerly with Paytm, guided the students in developing a Google Clone App using React JS and Tailwind CSS. Dr. P.K. Lahiri, the Group Director of RGI, delivered a compelling talk on the future of entrepreneurship in India. Dr. Rajiv Varshney explored advanced technologies in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on automation and its practical applications. Prof. Tarun Deshmukh emphasized the importance of advance mathematical tools in engineering and management research. Additionally, Prof. Aseem Shrivastava and Prof. Bhaskar Singh covered the latest advancements in electric vehicles, including battery innovations and charging infrastructure, inspiring students to consider careers in this impactful field.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science (RITS) held a week-long Students’ Training Program on “Green Technology for Sustainable Development” from May 9th to May 14th, 2024. The chief guest of the event, Shri R.R. Saxena, Chairman of the Radharaman Group, highlighted the crucial role of green technology in combating global warming. The distinguished expert Dr. Anil Kumar from Amity University, Noida, delivered an engaging presentation on biomass gasification and its significance in green technology. On the following day, Dr. Anil Kumar continued to deliver his extensive knowledge on solid waste management. During the event the Senior Director Dr. P. K. Lahiri and the coordinator Dr. Rajiv Varshney shared insights into various green energy sources, including thin-film solar cells, artificial photosynthesis, and other sustainable sources like geothermal and tidal energy. Dr. Pradyumna Vishwakarma provided vital information on electric vehicles, their future prospects and explained how hybrid systems integrate traditional internal combustion engines with electric vehicles. Dr. Ajay Singh, Director (RITS) emphasized the transformative impact of such initiatives on students' holistic development and the importance of fostering a sustainable mindset. Dr. Rajiv Varshney, the event coordinator, expertly managed the event, while Dr. Parag Mishra, the Department Head, provided essential support by overseeing logistical aspects and ensuring the necessary infrastructure was in place. One Day Seminar On Advances in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

A one-day seminar was conducted at RITS, hosted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Institute. During the inaugural session, the keynote speaker, Dr. Vishal Gupta (CFD and Simulation Analyst), delivered his talk on Advances in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The seminar gathered students and enthusiasts, with 55 participants in attendance, delving into the latest advancements in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The seminar provided a platform for participants to explore emerging technologies and techniques shaping the future of fluid flow simulations. Throughout the seminar, speakers from academia and industry shared their insights into groundbreaking developments in CFD applications across various fields. At the end of the seminar, during the valedictory session, certificates were distributed to all participants by the Group Chairman, R. R. Saxena, and other dignitaries including Dr. P. K. Lahiri, Dr. R. K. Pandey, Director, S.B. Khare Dean Admin, and Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh HOD. A memento was presented to Dr. Vishal Gupta (CFD and Simulation Analyst) by the Chairman as a token of remembrance of the program. Key points of the seminar included: Machine Learning and AI Integration: Presentations showcased how machine learning algorithms are revolutionizing CFD simulations by accelerating computations, optimizing designs, and enhancing predictive capabilities. Industry Case Studies: Real-world case studies showcased how CFD is being leveraged to address challenges in industries. As CFD continues to evolve rapidly, events like this seminar play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, engineers, and industry.

Short term training program on Advances in design technology (27th Feb to 4th March 2023) organised by Department of Mechanical Engineering in Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science, Bhopal. Department of Mechanical Engineering of Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science organized a one-week short-term training program for the students, researchers and teachers. The programme was aimed to educate students and develop their knowledge and skills from the latest research in the field of designing. Training program conducted by Convenor of the program Dr. Ajay Singh Professor and Head of department. During the program, 16 experts from different institutions gave lectures. Dr. P. K. Lahiri, Dr. R. K. pandey, Dr. Ajay Singh, Dr. Rajiv Varshney, Dr. Vishal Gupta, Dr. Parag Mishra, Prof Nitin Barodia, Prof Ashish Verma, Prof Deepak Patel, Prof Arham Javed were among the key speakers. During the program participants also visited CSIR, AMPRI, Bhopal. Dr. Gaurav Kumar Gupta, Dr Tilak Chandra Joshi, Shri Nikhil R Gorhe, Dr Md Shafeeq, Dr RK Bharilya, Dr Mohit Sharma, Shri Anup Khare, Dr DP Mondal, Shri N Prasanth delivered lectures on advanced Machining Technologies with practical demonstration. In the closing ceremony Radharaman Group Chairman Shri R R Saxena said that Radharaman Group always organizes such programs with the aim of keeping its students one step ahead. These programs give them academic knowledge as well as the real needs and changes of the industry. This is why they are considered employment ready to the employees. Honouring ceremony of experts was held in the seminar room of the institution and chairman Shri R. R. Saxena congratulated the participants and experts as well as event coordinators and certificates of appreciation for their significant contribution to the program. Closing session conducted by Dr. R. K Pandey, Director, RITS and vote of thanks by Head of Mechanical Engineering Dr. Ajay Singh. Sr. Director Dr. P.K. Lahiri and Dean (Admin) Shri S.B Khare were also present.
