RGI- GROUP ACTIVITIES - ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL
RADHARAMAN GROUP oF INSTITUTIONS
All of the constituent colleges of RGI have Entrepreneurship Development Cells (EDCs) that have been conducting various entrepreneurial promotional programs since past four years. Various programs conducted so far are:
- Business Skills Development Program (BSDP)
- Industrial Motivation Camps
- Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs), sponsored by the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)
- Entrepreneurs Awareness Camps (EACs) sponsored by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) of Department of Science and Technology.
More than 1400 students have benefited from the above mentioned programs. The Government of India, through respective departments of various ministries, has granted aids amounting to Rs.2,15,000/-. Most of the faculty members have attended EDP/ QIPs/ WS at various reputed universities/ institutes (like IITs/ NITs). Quality research papers have been published in reputed journals (like Elsevier, Taylor & Francies, etc.) by faculty members of various departments. Such activities are always encouraged by the management.
RGI has established ISTE student chapters. Various technical activities are proposed under this banner for students and faculty members.
